SPEAKER SERIES: UIBE X SBCCI
Are you a black-led, black-centric non-profit organization or social entrepreneur in Quebec ?
If yes, join us on November 14th, 2024, for an open conversation with Employment Social Development Canada (ESDC) Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative (SBCCI) representatives, Muna Idris, Director General, and Agnes Addai-Anuseh, Director.
The event aims to provide an informative session for the English-speaking Black community in Montreal, a double minority in Quebec. Our goals are to inform and empower organizations who applied for the SBCCI fund (whether approved or denied), those who wanted to apply but didn’t, and reach those who are unaware of this initiative or may be confused about it.
The SBCCI team and key stakeholder Groupe 3737, the BNFIN fiduciary for this initiative in Quebec, will share information and answer questions about government programs supporting Black communities while we enjoy a FREE meal from a local Black business. We value your insights and feedback to help shape a prosperous legacy by fueling growth in community through increased funding access now and in the future.
Date: November 14th, 2024
Location: 5311 Boulevard de Maisonneuve Ouest, Montreal, QC, H4A 1Z5
